Configuring your email for...

About your email account

This is a standard IMAP email account, and as such can be accessed from pretty much any device (Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Mac, Laptop, etc.) In addition, there is a webmail system which you can use from any web browser (such as Safari, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome...)
Important Limitations of this account:
  • maximum # of recipients per message is 100 - if you try to send a message to more than 100 recipients (including To, CC and BCC) it will get stuck in your outbox. You'll need to break it into two or more messages, each with less than 100 recipients.
  • maximum # of recipients per hour is 100 - if you go over this limit, emails will be queued for a while and then sent out later.
  • maximum # of emails in your Inbox : 2000. This only applies to the Inbox - folders and subfolders can have as many messages as you like. (Keeping your Inbox tidy helps with server performance.)
Security & Privacy
  • Your initial password is secure and you may keep it if you like it. We have a copy of it and we can log into your account with it, and we have done so to configure it. However, later on, we will never do so without your permission. Nobody from APC (or CSU, for that matter) can read your email. If you change your password, we can not log into your account or read your email. If you forget your password, we can not recover it for you, but we can reset it and assign you a new one.
